Albie Selznick, a lifetime member of the Magic Castle and an accomplished actor (Rabbi Ben from Suddenly Susan), stars in this unique and thrilling magic show. In Smoke and Mirrors, Selznick gets a little help from his best friend Trixie (a life-sized rabbit), The Oracle (a giant head) and Bessie Houdini (beautiful and dangerous as always) while taking you on his journey to heal the loss of his father, bond with illusionist legends like Houdini and achieve membership in an exclusive inner circle of magicians. Selznick was a co-founder of The Mums, a popular circus act in the ’80s and ’90s who opened for Devo and Duran Duran and counted David Bowie, Sting and Ry Cooder among their fans.
