This revival of the popular production once again tells the story of Rabbi Jacob, the widowed leader of Temple Judea, who has grown a bit too comfortable in his post and his life. When he meets the alluring carpet saleswoman Theresa, it stirs feelings only exacerbated by the fact that she isn’t Jewish. When their relationship is revealed, sparks fly and lives are changed forever.
