Darren Criss (Glee) Presents Outfest Legacy Award, Plus Screening

The leading organization showcasing, nurturing and preserving LGBT film images and artistry, Outfest welcomes Glee‘s Darren Criss to its eighth annual gala to present its Visionary Award to Hollywood producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago, Hairspray, Smash, Raisin in the Sun). They’ll also be screening their most significant restoration to date, Richard Oswald’s Different From the Others, complete with live orchestral accompaniment. Arguably the earliest movie to deal explicitly with LGBT themes, the silent film was made in Weimar Era Germany in 1919. Tickets to this exciting event include a post-screening reception.
