This documentary program illustrates the diverse topics of the documentaries covered by the Project Film-to-Film initiative, with a short about the spiritual aspects of Hatha yoga, and the Maysles brothers’ portrait of movie distributor Joseph E. Levine. First up is the Academy Award-nominated documentary short Naked Yoga (1974, 25 minutes), followed by the documentary feature Showman (1963, 52 minutes). This screening is part of the inaugural Film-to-Film Festival, part of Project Film-to-Film, which is aimed at preserving as many films on film as possible over a two-year period.
