The Los Angeles Youth Ballet Theater presents Triple Bill, a three-part dance program which includes Wonder-Land, excerpts from Sleeping Beauty and Peter and the Wolf performed by some of the best young dancers in Los Angeles. This premier for the Los Angeles Youth Ballet & Theatrics Dance Company begins with Wonder-Land, a 20-minute, jazzed-up version of the Alice in Wonderland tale with outrageous costumes and the feel of a Broadway revue. This is followed by selected portions of Sleeping Beauty, which revisits the 100-year-old original choreography of Marius Petipa and Peter and the Wolf, a perennial favorite which introduces young audiences to the instruments of the orchestra portrayed by the characters in the story and the timeless music of Sergei Prokofiev.
