Guitarist-songwriter Robby Krieger of the Doors brings his signature Gibson SG and four talented band members to the stage for an evening of jazz. Krieger and longtime collaborator Arthur Barrow, the former bassist and bandleader for Frank Zappa, were recently nominated for a Best Pop Instrumental Album Grammy for 2011’s Singularity with its original mix of flamenco-infused jazz-rock. As one of the Doors’ key songwriters, Krieger penned the classics “Light My Fire,” “Love Me Two Times,” “Love Her Madly,” and more, and continues to be a musical innovator and great live performer with his Jazz Kitchen group. Blues jammers Midnight Lamp and singer-songwriter Trey Comstock are also on the bill.
