KROQ presents a live concert by The Smashing Pumpkins, whose Oceania tour comes to the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk. The band’s hard-rocking sound and frontman Billy Corgan’s sensitive lyrics made them one of the biggest rock acts of the ’90s, with hits including “1979”, “Tonight, Tonight,” “Bullet With Butterfly Wings,” “Cherub Rock,” “Disarm,” “Today,” “Zero” and many more. In this show, they’ll be playing tracks from classic albums like the multi-platinum Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, as well as this year’s Oceania, which fans and critics are calling the band’s best album in over a decade.
