Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the chamber-music society that spotlights the prodigious talents of Colburn Conservatory musicians and faculty performs with the Ebène Quartet. This French foursome are known as cutting-edge performers, who combine classical with jazz and world music elements. The Virgin Classics recording artists have also won multiple Echo awards, including one for their latest disc, Mozart/String Quartets. They’ll join the Colburn Chamber Music Society in a program of works by Ravel, along with string quartets by Mendelssohn and Schubert.
