Famed as the first violinist of the Guarneri String Quartet, Arnold Steinhardt joins the Colburn Chamber Music Society for a performance in celebration of the acclaimed group’s 10th anniversary. A child prodigy and prestigious prize winner, Steinhardt made his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the tender age of 14, and has since developed into a leading educator, solo artist and author. He also happens to serve as the violin, viola and chamber music coach at the Colburn School. The program includes string quintets by Mozart and Dvořák, along with a sextet from Strauss.
