New Absurdist Comedy G ( ) D ( ) T From The MET Theatre
Great Scott Theatre at The MET (Los Angeles, CA)
Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Theatre of the Absurd classic Waiting for Godot, world premiere comedy G ( ) D ( ) T answers the essential question: What was Godot actually doing while Vladimir and Estragon were waiting for him? In this new work, Vladimir and Estragon take on the roles of V and E — and The Boy character from Beckett’s work makes an appearance as well. In G ( ) D ( ) T, we find Godot, with the help of his administrative assistant, Snook, making decisions that will affect the fates of V and E. It’s a fictional look behind-the-scenes at one of theater’s classic works.
