GTC Burbank (Burbank, CA)

This funny, tender story of growing up, staying young and falling in love from award-winning playwright A. Rey Pamatmat comes courtesy of Artists at Play. Abandoned by their father after their mother dies, Filipino-American teen Kenny, 16, cares for his pre-teen sister Edith — who carries a rifle and stuffed frog for comfort — on an isolated farm in middle America. As Kenny and his best friend Benji begin falling in love, the three form an unlikely family. But when the outside world threatens to disrupt their lives, the spunky Edith takes aim and fires away. Amielynn Abellera (Dusty de los Santos, Wind Chimes), Rodney To (Wilfred, Modern Family) and Brian Hostenske (Pride and Prejudice, The Playboy of the Western World) star for director Jennifer Chang.
