Highways Performance Space and Gallery (Santa Monica, CA)

Known for her irreverent and engaging combinations of dance, music and words, Christine Suarez brings her latest opus to Highways for its L.A. premiere. Mother.F***er explores what it means to be a mom in all its glory — its highs, lows and everything in between. Inspired by her own struggles, along with those of 50 other women she interviewed, Suarez performs against a backdrop of tinker toys and pulls from a bag of props and costumes to create her meaningful and wryly funny dance-theater piece.
