Highways Performance Space and Gallery (Santa Monica, CA)

Highways Performance Space presents Push Play 2, a “mixtape” of new and repertory work from Los Angeles composers and choreographers. Curated by director/choreographer Janet Roston, the first part of the evening features the theatrical songwriting team Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda, who present their inventive re-imagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream along with the duo’s performances of favorite songs and Vigoda’s mind-blowing solo looping vocals and violin. The second part of Push Play 2 features two different programs of innovative contemporary dance works.
