Take a trip down to Brazil with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra and dance to the bossa nova beat. The romantic melodies and infectious rhythms of Brazilian music fire the heart and feet like no other. Combining elements of both jazz and samba, bossa nova remains one of the world’s most popular musical styles. The orchestra will play memorable songs such as Desafinado, The Girl from Ipanema, Mas Que Nada and much more. They’ll be joined by guest vocalist-guitarist Téka Penteriche and led by Matt Catingub.
