Untitled Warhol Project: A Live Multi-Disciplinary Mash-Up

This exciting new multi-disciplinary performance piece follows the life of influential pop artist Andy Warhol as it explores America’s relationship to fame and celebrity. Deemed a “docu-collage” by its creators, Untitled Warhol Project melds elements of cabaret, documentary film, movement theater, and even a fashion show into a non-linear look at Warhol’s experiences, from the Pittsburgh suburbs through the ’70s gay disco craze to becoming a true cultural icon of the ’80s and beyond. The score is an equally eclectic mix of Velvet Underground, disco hits and the Polish-Czechoslovakian folk music of his immigrant parents.
