The Long Beach Pops orchestra is joined by a vocal sextet for a night of music from the Baby Boom era. Go back in time and relive the sounds, sentiments, and social consciousness of the 1960s through the songs that were popular on stage, screen and television at the time. The evening will feature selections from The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, Burt Bacharach and the great girl groups of Motown. Songs will include favorites like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “The Sound of Silence,” “What’s New Pussycat,” “My Boyfriend’s Back” and many more.
