Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) directs the world premiere of a new music and comedy revue bringing the famed humor albums of the mid-’60s by Grammy-winner Bob Booker (The First Family) to glorious life. This hilarious and good-natured collection of 25 comedy sketches and songs is woven around the story of a nice Jewish boy who happens to want to marry a equally lovely Gentile girl. First, though, the chosen shiksa could use a little introducing to some of the culture’s colorful traditions. The show, from Danny Gold and Billy Riback, includes the huge hit song “The Ballad of Irving,” (the 142nd-fastest gun in the West).
