Stephen Belber’s three-character play Tape takes place in a dingy motel room, where documentary filmmaker Jon reminisces about the past with his party-animal friend Vince. As the night goes on, old wounds are reopened when the subject turns to Amy, a girl they both dated. Vince elicits a confession from Jon about his possible date rape of Amy. When the girl in question shows up at the motel, the conversation gets even more heated as the former friends argue over their differing versions of past events.
