Valley Performing Arts Center – Great Hall (Northridge, CA)

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has been a player on the global classical scene for almost 100 years, gaining a reputation as a world-class, globetrotting orchestra that has maintained a high level of technical excellence throughout the years. This distinguished orchestra, led by Maestro Tovey, won a GRAMMY Award for Best Instrumental Soloist Performance (with Orchestra) in 2008. They will bring their renowned skill and masterful interpretations of the great composers to Valley Performing Arts Center for a program that includes works from Grieg and Prokofiev. On this tour they are also debuting the latest work from contemporary Dutch composer Edward Top.
