The much-loved tunes of Creedence Clearwater Revival get the all-acoustic treatment as tribute band Fortunate Son comes to Grand Annex. Led by frontman John Fogerty, CCR produced a timeless catalog of rough-hewn rock ‘n’ roll with favorites like “Proud Mary,” “Travelin’ Band,” “Down on the Corner,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Suzie Q” and, of course, “Fortunate Son.” This special tribute set, with Brad Ford in the Fogerty role, will strip down CCR’s sound, allowing these great songs to shine in an “unplugged” style.
