The William S. Paley Television Festival presents an evening with the cast and creative team of NBC’s The New Normal. One of the most talked about series of this season, The New Normal is a comedy about family and relationships, both conventional and unconventional. Two men hire a surrogate mother who comes along with a wise-beyond-her-years daughter and a disapproving grandmother. Add in a personal assistant and you have the recipe for Ryan Murphy’s (Glee, American Horror Story) latest comedy, a mix of wit, poignancy, political humor, and outrageousness that hearkens back to the classic comedies of Norman Lear. Creators Ryan Murphy, Ali Adler and executive producer Dante Di Loreto will appear for this screening and panel discussion alongside cast members Andrew Rannells (“Bryan Collins”), Justin Bartha (“David Murray”), Ellen Barkin (“Jane Forrest”), Georgia King (“Goldie Clemmons”), Bebe Wood (“Shania Clemmons”), NeNe Leakes (“Rocky”) and Jayson Blair (“Clay Clemmons”).
