Actor Val Kilmer burst into public consciousness in the 1980s with roles in such films as the cult comedy classic Real Genius and the blockbuster action film Top Gun. He went on to play Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s The Doors, Doc Holliday in Tombstone and Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Forever. Now he returns to his stage roots by stepping into the persona of author and humorist Mark Twain in his new play Citizen Twain. Exploring the famed author’s wry humor — on everything from politics, death, love and money to watermelons, God, racism and cats — Kilmer channels the wit and wisdom of the man considered to be the world’s greatest storyteller and the first stand-up comedian. One hundred years after his death, Twain’s stories remain more relevant than ever. As an added treat, the VIP Seating option includes a post-show meet-and-greet with Val Kilmer.
