Audience favorite The Ree Ree Ray Show returns to the SoCal stage with Teresa Campbell as the uproarious straight-shooter Ree Ree Ray. The Ree Ree Ray Show is a hybrid of Oprah, Wendy Williams and Dr. Phil with a splash of Jay Leno featuring guests that are real figures from the Holy Bible. The show takes the biblical characters and their familiar stories and puts them in a contemporary context. The result is a mix of serious drama and over-the-top comedy as the characters tell their stories on stage and also explore various issues and themes that affect us today. Ree Ree and her crew, Diadem (Jackie McClendon) and DJ Wealthy (Jevin Smith), along with her funky, live band will hit the stage at the newly renovated, state-of-the-art theater at King Drew high school in the Watts section of Los Angeles to interview three folks Jesus healed and explore how life has changed since this miraculous encounter.
