A five-time Los Angeles Classic Jazz Festival all-star and nine-time Sweet and Hot Music Festival all-star, bassist Paul Gormley brings his Paul Gormley Trio to the stage at Grand Annex. This straight-ahead jazz trio features three of Los Angeles’ top professional musicians performing in the styles of Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal and Red Garland. Gormley, who has played jazz bass for more than 40 years in addition to being a bandleader and producer, will be accompanied by Llew Matthews on piano and Jake Reed on drums.
