Celebrated musician and film composer Clint Mansell takes the stage at L.A.’s Orpheum Theatre to perform selected pieces from his extensive repertoire. The Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated artist composed the score for Darren Aronofsky’s Pi, which he soon followed up with the score for Aronofsky’s next film, the cult hit Requiem for a Dream. That film’s main composition, “Lux Aeterna,” become extremely popular, appearing in a variety of advertisements and film trailers. Mansell’s other notable film scores include Moon, Smokin’ Aces, The Wrestler, and Black Swan. His latest work is featured in Chan-wook Park’s newly released thriller Stoker starring Nicole Kidman.
