Balanchine Festival GOLD Celebrates the Master Choreographer

Los Angeles Ballet’s 2013 Balanchine Festival GOLD is part one of a historic two-part series of George Balanchine masterworks. Experience love, jealousy, mystery and murder in the powerful one-act La Sonnambula. In Concerto Barocco, movement personifies music. Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux is pure ballet bravura. And The Four Temperaments fuses classical and contemporary movement in an exploration of the medieval “humors” attributed to the human body. Dance journalist Lewis Segal will also give a pre-performance talk.
