Marilyn Manson is known for bringing shocking imagery, anti-establishment lyrics and and outlandish costumes into the mainstream throughout the ’90s and into the new millennium. Known as much for his music as for his controversial stage persona, Manson found worldwide commercial success with chart-topping hits including “The Beautiful People,” “The Dope Show” and a brooding cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).”
