Two of television’s greatest comedians — and real-life husband and wife — Nick Offerman (the hilarious “Ron Swanson” from Parks and Recreation) and Megan Mullally (Two-time Emmy winner from Will & Grace) are starring in a tour-de-force stage play, Annapurna, at the Odyssey Theatre. When it premiered at San Francisco’s Magic Theatre in 2011, Annapurna was immediately hailed as the latest critical success for playwright Sharr White (The Other Place, Six Years). This intense dramatic encounter begins when Emma, matching luggage in tow, barges into the squalid Colorado motor home belonging to her former husband, Ulysses, now dying of lung cancer. The final reckoning of their relationship and the true reasons behind its demise manage to shock both ex-husband and ex-wife. Bart DeLorenzo, winner of the 2012 Alan Schneider Director Award, directs these two world-class actors in a dynamite production from the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble.
