Two of California’s most innovative dance companies team for a night of new works. L.A.’s Not Man Apart Physical Theatre Ensemble, acclaimed for their 2010 production Titus Redux, returns with Falling…. This dance theater work explores personal stories of love and relationships in all their beauty and pain, through the company’s signature brand of expressive movement. In their multi-disciplinary piece Ocean, the Carmel Valley’s SpectorDance brings art and science together to promote preservation of the earth’s most powerful natural resource. Based on research and interviews with renowned experts, this original work combines dance, video, music and photography to create an inspirational and involving performance.
