A daughter journeys through a landscape of years, memories and realities in search of understanding about war and family in Snapshot: A True Story of Love Interrupted by Invasion. A solo play written and performed by Mitzi Sinnott, Snapshot takes its title from an album of faded photos of Sinnott’s absent father, who left for the Vietnam War before she was born. Through words, dance, music and film, Sinnott conveys the story of a mixed-race daughter’s far-flung and moving quest to find her homeless veteran father.
