Smothers Theatre (Malibu, CA)
The Los Angeles Master Chorale, one of the world’s premier choirs, performs a concert at Pepperdine University’s Smothers Theatre. The Grammy-nominated Chorale, founded in 1964, is one of the resident companies at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and also performs regularly at the Hollywood Bowl and other music venues in Los Angeles and beyond. The 120-voice choir has recorded dozens of albums over the years, performed on blockbuster movie soundtracks and collaborated with the world’s greatest conductors. This concert is part of Pepperdine’s The Ascending Voice III: An International Symposium of Sacred A Cappella Music.
