WORKMAN ARTS AND |FAT|FASHION ARTS TORONTO ARTS & FASHION WEEK Present MAD COUTURE CATWALK: April 23, 2013 Initially co-presented with the Art Gallery of Ontario in 2012, Workman Arts and |FAT| present the wildly successful Mad Couture Catwalk as part of |FAT|s Opening Night program on April 23 at 213 Sterling Road. The event starts at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) and the Mad Couture Catwalk begins at 10:40 p.m. It is a runway-style presentation of wearable artwork. It challenges norms and shifts boundaries through expression of participating artists practices and their individual insights related to mental illness. Created in collaboration with artist-educator, Elena Soni, the Mad Couture Catwalk features twenty-eight works by 10 Workman Arts artists*.Tickets are priced at $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
