Philip Thomas joins the Continuum Contemporary Music ensemble as guest pianist in works demonstrating correspondences between Canadian and British new music. Covering the gamut from drolly minimal to frenetically maxed out, this is music long past any colonial relationship. Philip Thomas specialises in performing experimental notated and improvised music as a soloist and with the leading experimental music group Apartment House, winner of the 2012 Royal Philharmonic Society award for Chamber Music and Song, and with whom he has appeared in numerous radio broadcasts and at festivals across Europe and the UK.
