Rock Veterans Jefferson Starship at The Canyon

Chart-topping San Francisco band Jefferson Starship headlines at The Canyon, capping off a whirlwind nine country world tour. Founded in 1974 after the dissolution of ’60s rock legends Jefferson Airplane, the band’s works have ranged from ambitious science-fiction concept albums to radio rock hits as Starship, including “We Built This City,” “Sara,” and the Oscar-nominated “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” from the movie Mannequin. Led by founding members Paul Kantner and David Freiberg, the band will perform the album Surrealistic Pillow in its entirety. There will be opening sets by Intensity and Angeles.
