The Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center (Santa Monica, CA)

Taking their name from the patron saint of musicians, La Santa Cecilia brings a flurry of color and life to The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. This eclectic band pulls in musical genres from all over the world, both traditional and modern to create a funky melting pot that blends the nostalgia of Bolero and passion of Tango with cumbia, funk, punk, samba, son jarocho and klezmer. The Los Angeles Times described them as “elegant, effortlessly cool” as they bring a message of love and inspiration rallies audiences of all backgrounds with passionate lyrics and a contagious energy.
