Real estate gets really compelling in this world premiere of Shem Bitterman’s compelling play, Open House. Two lonely souls meet in a place where nothing is quite as it appears when hotshot California real estate agent Chuck Baker tries to sell a difficult, emotional house to recent transplant Martha Tucker. She’s a solid prospect, but she can’t quite shake the sense that “something wrong” has happened in the dwelling. It might just be a subjective hunch, or she might be responding to Chuck.
