City National Grove of Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

Grammy-winner Kenny Loggins performs his greatest hits, joined for an opening set by his new band, Blue Sky Riders. The veteran singer-songwriter first found fame in the ’70s as half of the folk-rock duo Loggins and Messina (“Danny’s Song, Your Mama Don’t Dance”), and followed that up with a successful solo career (“Whenever I Call You Friend,” “This Is It”). Since then, he’s become the King of Movie Soundtracks, with massive hit songs like “Footloose,” “Danger Zone” from Top Gun and “I’m Alright” from Caddyshack, and later launched a run as a successful children’s music artist. Loggins writes yet another chapter in his storied career by teaming with Nashville’s Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman to form the harmonizing country trio Blue Sky Riders. The group features Loggins alongside Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter Burr, who’s written hits for artists ranging from Conway Twitty, Wynonna Judd and Reba McEntire to Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken and singer-songwriter Georgia Middleman, whose songs have been recorded by artists like Keith Urban, Faith Hill and Martina McBride. Blue Sky Riders released their debut album Finally Home in 2013 and have already appeared as a musical guest on The Tonight Show and at the prestigious SXSW music fest in Austin.
