ProArteDanzas Summer Intensive Program culminates this Saturday, August 24th at Fleck Dance Theatre, with a performance by 23 young emerging dancers who have spent the past 4 weeks learning ProArteDanzas unique fusion of contemporary and classical dance vocabulary. The dancers have had an unparalleled opportunity to work with award winning choreographers Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbek, John Ottmann, former Quinte Ballet School’s Artistic Director, legendary ballerina Evelyn Hart, and personal trainer, Marisol Brown. SIP 2013 presents emerging and dynamic dancers in a new work by Hanna Kiel, excerpts from the company repertoire by award-winning choreographers Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbek, etudes of Off the Grid by John Ottmann and a sneak preview at the company’s remount of Fractals by Guillaume Cote for the upcoming fall season at Harbourfront Centre’s Fleck Theatre.
