Brazilian Summer Festival Featuring Samba Icon Jorge Aragao at the Ford

Ford Amphitheatre’s popular summer series comes to a close with Brazilian Nites’ Brazilian Summer Festival, a colorful, music-filled evening celebrating the rhythms of Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, this crowd-pleasing concert event features live samba, axe, funk and timbala beats along with an acrobatic capoeira show, samba dancers and exuberant Brazilian choreography. The evening also includes a special performance by famed Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jorge Aragao, a founding member of the influential collective Grupo Fundo de Quintal and an icon of the samba and pagoda music genres.
