Armstrong Theatre at Torrance Cultural Arts Center (Torrance, CA)

Squirm Burpee Circus is a melodramatic mash-up that mixes vintage vaudeville with entertaining displays of circus arts, song and dance. This treat for all ages offers something for everyone, from its ingenious steampunk contraptions and vintage costumes to its slapstick comedy, swing dancing and chainsaw juggling. The Handsome Devils knit together the astonishing array of variety acts with a kid-friendly melodramatic adventure in which our heroes, Dashing Dave, Mike the Handsome and their assistant the Lovely Little Lolo are putting together a new act. Unbeknownst to them, a mustachioed villain is plotting to ruin the show, and he wants the audience to help!
