It’s Hot, It’s Cold paintings by Ramn Serrano are based on constructed landscapes and are a metaphor for flux. All the elements in the paintings refer to life changing events: grand and almost overwhelming mountains seem constructed and not real; words melting into the sea with no firm foundation, create the illusion of landscape.
