In the Arms of a Galaxy… Sculptures by Angela Verlaeckt Clark, SCA (Sculptor) WSAG is pleased to present Angela Verlaeckt Clark, SCA (Sculptor), to kick off its fall season of art shows which includes both her stone sculptures and fused glass art. Over the years, Angelas stone sculptures have become her personal witness, recording emotional and spiritual connections. The inner stillness and quiet observation of her Abenaki heritage reveal a spirituality and peacefulness in her stone sculptures. And, her fused glass art panels and sculptural glass pieces resonate with the colours and mood of Japanese designed textiles…richly hued and vibrant. Each sculpture is a piece of timelessness given dimension, a landscape carefully negotiated; quiet, strong and yet very gentle.
