Hail Mary, full of gossip School is in session at The Bad Dog Theatre Company! Our Lady of St. Gordon of Levitt Catholic school welcomes its students back for another year of gossip, giggles, and grade grubbing. Each weekly episode of this serialized show will stand alone and explore the lives of the students and teachers at the all-girls school. Who’ll put a tack on a teacher’s chair? Who will develop a bad habit? Who’ll be made to say the Hail Marys until she loses her voice? The politics and high drama of Wayward offers dark comedic possibilities… Its an improvised upstairs-downstairs soap opera of nuns and schoolgirls performed by women with sharp comedic sensibilities and theatre experience. Spearheaded by Becky Johnson, Wayward pairs veteran improvisers Lisa Merchant (Canadian Comedy Award Winner, Train 48), Aurora Browne, Janet Van de Graaf, Theresa Pavlinek, Melody Johnson, Jen Goodhue, Carolyn Taylor, and Christy Bruce with premiere improv talent, including Ashley Comeau, Ann Pornel, and Jocelyn Geddie.
