Canadian Cup Quidditch Tournament On Saturday a Harry Potter inspired dodgeball tournament hits Toronto, known as the Canadian Cup Quidditch Tournament. The game is best summed up as a contact sport that combines rugby and dodgeball, and while Quidditch is a game that only exists in Harry Potter and involves broomsticks and magic, the Canadian Cup Quidditch uses Muggle Quidditch rules — broomsticks go between the legs, but do not fly, while snitches are tennis balls contained within socks. There are 27 Muggle Quiddich teams in Canada. Saturday 08:00 until 18:00 199 Unwin Ave., Toronto The Regionals! Sixteen teams will compete, and four will qualify to compete in the World Cup. In addition to Quidditch, this event will have kidditch (for the little ones to try the sport), a reading tent, some awesome merchandise, and an afterparty!
