Exhibition runs DEC 3- JAN 31 Opening Reception: Thursday December 12, 6-8pm Artist Talk: January 18, 1pm This Country is Yours documents and fosters discourse about the collective political struggle of Nepals marginalized groups, and the imminent social and political transformation of the country. This on-going and long-term photographic series by Surendra Lawoti focuses on activists of six social and political movements of Nepal, which include: women, indigenous nationalities, Dalits (untouchable groups), Madeshis (regional minorities from southern plains), the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer community, and religious minorities. Gallery hours: Mon-Fri 9-7pm, Sat 11-3pm
