Alligator Tails: Jan Munroe’s Solo Show
Theatre/Theater (Los Angeles, CA)

Dubbed “a genteel regional impressionist” by The New York Times, monologist and Los Angeles theater vet Jan Munroe reprises his ground-breaking one-man show on the 30th anniversary of its debut. Alligator Tails recreates the goings-on in the small Florida town of his ancestors, which is filled with colorful characters and plenty of swamp-dwelling secrets. The winner of an L.A. Weekly and Drama-Logue Award for this show, Munroe’s gone on to receive nine more of those prizes, and has appeared opposite his wife Frances Conroy (American Horror Story) on stage as well.
