Black-and-white morality goes grey in the complex underworld of cops, heroes, villains and serial killers that is Detective Partner Hero Villain. This psychological mix of the superhero and noir genres introduces a crime fighter known as the Fantastic Phenomenon and his arch nemesis, Supernova, while peeling back the usual good-versus-evil veneer to expose the realities of life and death. Winner of the Emerging Artist Award from the League of Chicago Theatres, playwright Brett Neveu’s work has been produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Court Theatre and Steppenwolf Theatre.
