Witty and highly entertaining, Omar Covarrubias got his start as a street performer on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. There he learned to engage his audience and perfect his magic tricks in front of spectators from all walks of life. The Great Omar has since performed on the strip of Las Vegas and branched out into comedy clubs throughout southern California. Covarrubias’ shows feature vaudevillian comedy and musical bits, while encouraging constant audience participation with his animated and winning personality.
