Filipino Music Under the Stars: Serenata Filipina at the Ford

Serenata Filipina evokes the sights and sounds of the Philippines through popular songs and “OPM” — Original Pilipino Music — sung both in English and Tagalog. This music-filled evening under the stars features performances by jazz vocalist and instrumentalist Mon David, winner of the 2006 London International Jazz Vocal Competition, as well as the all-male vocal ensemble Harana Men’s Chorus, soprano Louise Marie Cornillez, musical theatre actress Lara Avengoza and vocalist Annie Nepomuceno. Along with these established talents, the concert also showcases rising stars Josie Gonzales and Amin Baghallian.
