J.E.T. Studio Theater Main Stage (North Hollywood, CA)
A “Moment” in Life — An Evening of One-Acts features six stories of split decisions that changed someone’s life forever. Ranging from hilarity to tragedy, J.E.T. Studios’ production of these tender tales of twists of fate include Carrie Goldstein’s darkly comic Last Exit Before Toll, wherein a driver with no change leaves her baby at a tollbooth as collateral; and Sandra J. Albert’s How Many to Tango, in which a couple who have only flirted by phone finally meet in person. On the other end of the emotional spectrum, Frederick Stroppel’s A Chance Meeting wonders if having an affair is worth it to spice up one’s marriage, and Victoria Norman’s The Pledge offers a heart-wrenching examination of teen suicide.
